Con-Nichiwa 2016
The con of the Squids!
My very bad Squid cosplays that I’m gonna be redoing. The first picture I was being LegendWakers squid Oji and in the second picture I was Setsu’s squid Slushie (i’m sorry)
We actually had an undertale panel which I was Papyrus but I wanted to switch out after the panel which was a good thing being how our Mettaton’s shoes broke so they wore my boots the rest of the day. My friend Kelcey was also our Sans! I will say tho I’ve been in many many panels by this point and this one panel I dont know what happened, No one wanted to ask anything and we were standing awkwardly or trying to keep it going it. was. bad. I know someone was recording us but I’m actually scared to look it up ;w;
(I just looked it up thank god I didn’t find anything)
Then just some random pictures. This con was also a blur for the most part the only things I remember is the very bad panel, switching my outfit and how there was this one kid who kept coming back to the booth to question my dad about our gaming stuff and my dad keep having to tell him that the gaming stuff was mine. He bought one thing for $10 and tried to return it….. we told him no…. We have no problem with returns just he was driving us insane.
Also this con had to have happened the same day Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump came to Tucson :T and guess what IT WAS HELD AT THE SAME PLACE. So you had con goers walking around and security forces stopping people. Bernie was there friday so it was pretty fine. I was told by a few people had Bernie had asked some of his guards to go around the con and take pictures of cosplayers cause he wanted to see them. Then saturday…. saturday normally for any vendor is the best day to sell and when they make the most money but of course saturday is when trump came…. Half the con goers didn’t go or couldn’t go cause of the protesters outside, many parents didn’t want their kids around that and we lost any sells we could have gotten ;w;
